Payment Policy

The acceptable methods of payment for the purchase of products in our store would include the following:

Customers are expected to pay upfront before verification and shipping kick-off

Shipping/Delivery

  1. Inter-City shipping
  2. By this, it means the vendor and customer are located in different cities within the Republic of Cameroon.
    Upon receipt of payment, Muyang Corner will use a maximum of 24 hours to properly cross-check and verify the products before initiating delivery.
    After a successful verification is completed, the logistics department will contact the client to discuss delivery options.
    Options such as local pick-up wherein the client come or authorize someone to come to our base and collect the purchased item, or which road transport agency they would prefer Muyang to use for the delivery of their goods. Delivery options will be in consideration of the clients’ proximity to the preferred road transport agencies.
    Depending on the travel agency which shall be used, their respective terms and conditions will be respected.
    In cases where verification is unsuccessful, Muyang will contact the client and propose other options for the requested item from other vendors. In situations where the customer is not interested in any of the presented options, Muyang will issue a cash refund to the client with an apology for any inconvenience caused.

Termination of Accounts

All individuals who create accounts on this platform shall reserve the right to terminate or delete their accounts suo muto whenever they deem necessary. They will have to initiate the process by submitting an account deletion request alongside an explanatory note and the admin will respond within 24hrs max.
Muyang also reserves the right to at any time terminate or delete the accounts of individuals where such individuals are identified to have carried out illegal transactions such as financial crime, money laundering, hacking, scamming, and other cybercrimes.

Notification of change/modification of Terms and Conditions

The company reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions over time. Notification of any such modification will be made available as soon as the modification is made.

Governing Laws

All transactions carried out on this platform shall be governed by the laws applicable in the Republic of Cameroon relating to e-commerce, intellectual property, transportation of goods, insurance, taxation, general contracts, and any other related laws.

Dispute Resolution

In a situation where there is a dispute arising between the parties relating to any transaction or the interpretation of the terms and conditions or any other legal requirement on this platform, the parties shall first of all result in an amicable settlement of the dispute through negotiation and conciliation.
Where the negotiation and conciliation fail, then the parties shall proceed to commercial arbitration. The arbitral tribunal and rules applicable shall be the GICAM Arbitration Center in Douala, Cameroon.
It is only upon the failure of Arbitration that the parties shall resort to pressing charges in litigation.
